Couples Therapy for General Concerns
Couples therapy can involve other areas in your relationship beyond sexual function; that’s why I have separated the two areas where I can help.
When working with my clients, I emphasize a collaborative style. I will help you identify where you both are struggling, and we will work together to address those things.
What to Expect
I begin couples therapy by meeting with you and your partner together to discuss your concerns and get to know you as a couple.
After that initial session, I meet with each person individually to talk about any personal influences on the relationship, such as family history, relationship/sexual history, mental health history, societal/cultural influences, and any other relevant life experiences, as well as coping strategies developed.
From there, we will meet again altogether and discuss a plan of action to move forward together.
