Therapy

At first

Our first few (1-3) sessions will involve an evaluation of your goals and needs. By the end of the evaluation, I will be able to offer you some first impressions of what our work will include and a treatment plan to follow.  Part of our work will involve identifying your patterns of thinking, behaving, and relating that might impede your goals.


Our first few sessions also will be an opportunity for you to evaluate whether you feel comfortable working with me. If it feels like I am not a good match for you, I would be happy to provide referrals to other mental health professionals.


Therapy involves a large commitment of time, money, and energy, so it is important that you feel comfortable with the therapist you are working with.
